FIRE SYSTEMS SERVICES/ INSPECTIONS

Tic Tag Systems are now using their tested and proven testing systems to perform Fire Systems Services on mine sites and accommodation villages throughout Western Australia's booming resources sector. Tic Tag Systems are now performing level 1 and 2 inspections on fire extinguishers, hose reels and fire hydrants. The Seaward Prime Test 300 is not only Australia's fastest and most compact Portable Appliance Tester (PAT Tester), it also hosts the crucial record keeping and data logging capabilities that Tic Tag Systems have been successfully using for their Electrical Testing & Tagging services.

SMOKE ALARMS

Beep  Beep  Beep, Time to change the batteries again!
Tic Tag Systems would like to introduce you to a new addition in the Fire Systems Services division. This new service ensures your smoke alarms are maintained in working condition and will work if there is ever a fire hazard. If you’re Village/ Camp is still using battery powered smoke alarms it may be time to upgrade and save the hassle of constantly changing flat batteries.

This service can be tailored to suit your site's individual needs with Tic Tag Systems most common services including but not limited to:

Smoke Alarm Retrofitting - The old battery powered smoke alarms are removed and replaced with hard wired 240volt smoke alarms which are permanently supplied by the nearest lighting circuit.

Smoke Alarm Testing - Mandatory testing is performed in accordance with Australian Standards to ensure your fire alarms operate as they should. Each Smoke Alarm is allocated its own unique ID and barcode and together with our asset management software this allows us to electronically record test results and schedule the next test date so your mandatory testing will never be overdue. Tic Tag Systems can provide test results in many different formats which can then be imported to your own site maintenance software.

Yearly Group Battery Replacing - If your smoke alarms are powered by 9volt batteries Tic Tag Systems can change all of the batteries in one hit and then schedule the appropriate interval to replace them thereafter. This simple process dramatically reduces the time and money spent on changing batteries as they go flat and has the added bonus of an electronic register so you can keep track of exactly when the batteries where changed and need to be replaced. Again, these records can be imported to your site asset management software.
